How Does Exosome Treatment Works
1. Consultation
The exosome therapy for hair loss starts with a consultation during which our experts will evaluate your scalp or hair issues and determine if you are a good candidate for this ground-breaking treatment.
2. Prepping the skin
The scalp is cleansed to remove any impurities before the any topical formula; Purasomes HSC50+ is applied. We use microneedling treatment to allow for the formula to penetrate deeper into the scalp for longer lasting and more pronounced results.
3. Exosome application
The Exosome; Purasomes HSC50+ is applied to the targeted area and carefully massaged into the scalp, allowing it to be fully absorbed.
4. Repeated Sessions
We recommend one session every 3-4 weeks apart, a total of 6 sessions as it takes hair longer to respond to treatment.
Treatment Aftercare
It is recommended to follow the post-procedure:
- Do not touch, press, rub or manipulate the treated area(s) for at least 8 hours after treatment
- Do not wash your hair for at least 24 hours after treatment, if possible 48 hours to maximise the absorption.
- Avoid the following medication and/or herbal supplements for at least 3 days to 1 week prior to and post-treatment:
- NSAID – Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Naproxen or prescribed medication
- Gingko Biloba, garlic, Flax oil, Cod liver oil, Vitamins A & E, essential fatty acid
- If you experience any discomfort or pain, you may take Paracetamol, it will subside after two or four hours
- Do not use any lotion, creams, or make-up for at least 12 hours after your treatment
- AVOID vigorous exercise, sun and heat exposure for at least 2 days after your treatment
- AVOID alcohol, excessive caffeine, and cigarettes for 3 days before and after treatment. Smokers do not heal well, and problems recur earlier, and results may take longer.
- Maintain a healthy diet and drink plenty of water on the day of the treatment. Continue water intake for 7 days.
