PRP Hair

Platlet Rich Plasma (PRP), is a widely used, safe, and highly effective non-surgical treatment for Hair Loss that produces outstanding results. PRP concentrates the body’s own ability to create growth factors and promotes the cellular regeneration of hair follicles. This is used in both men and women, proven to increase hair count, restore hair thickening and promote natural hair growth. It is routinely used pre, during and up to 6 months after hair transplant surgery to help roots and strengthen the hair shafts and repair the existing hair follicles.

How Does PRP Work?

PRP is a three-step medical treatment in which a person’s blood is drawn, processed, and then injected into the scalp.

  1. Blood is drawn from the patient’s arm and put into a centrifuge to separate fluids of different densities.
  2. Separation of the blood into PRP and red blood cells. Platelets are important cells that stop you from bleeding when you cut yourself, they also release growth factors that attract and stimulate stem cell production to the damaged area.
  3. Inject the PRP into the scalp to stimulate the hair follicles and promote hair growth. It is the platelets that activate tissue repair and regenerate the damaged hair follicles.
